Textile Environment Design Research Group
Find out more about Chelsea's Textile Environment Design (TED) research group
Textiles Environment Design (TED) is a research group at the University of the Arts London (UAL). Based at Chelsea College of Arts, the group is committed to developing sustainable design strategies in creating textiles.
Branding strategists Pipeline Project asked TED to contribute to a two day workshop at Chelsea. The purpose was to propose sustainable product innovations for the European underwear brand Sloggi.
"The TED team collaboration brought us a very valuable combination of cutting-edge sustainable textiles expertise and global fashion savviness, helping us to identify big opportunities for future development."
- Tom Rowley, Pipeline Project
The workshop was evidence of how TED's design-led sustainability strategies can be powerful tools for new thinking in the textile and fashion sectors.
