Term Three classes open for booking

Our Term Three Languages, Arts and Culture courses are now open for booking. Classes start from 8 May 2018, and you can choose from different Beginner level casses, which all run for eight weeks: 

French, Italian, GermanJapanese, Mandarin and Spanish

Book your beginner language course

Learn French, German, Italian, Japanese, Mandarin Chinese or Spanish on a part-time evening course at the UAL Language Centre in London. All of the language classes are taught in an arts and culture context. Classes are open to the public as well as current UAL students and staff.

During your 8 week course, you will be exposed to authentic language through listening and reading activities with an emphasis on functional and practical uses. The classes focus on speaking, pronunciation, reading and written communication and will help you become confident language users.

Course details:

  • Part-time evening classes offered in French, German*, Italian, Japanese, Mandarin Chinese and Spanish
  • Experienced tutors, many of whom are native speakers of the language
  • One evening a week, over 8 weeks at 6pm to 8.30pm (unless otherwise stated)
  • Classes take place at the Language Centre in 272 High Holborn, London
  • Maximum of 15 students per class
  • The course price is £210 for a term of 8 weeks 

Our course tutors use specially-written learning resources and teach from an exciting syllabus that incorporates arts and culture topics such as architecture, cuisine, culture, design, fashion and society. Most classrooms have smartboards and tutors use a variety of the latest teaching tools and methods to give you the best language learning experience. Classes start at beginner level, and we sometimes also offer classes in other levels. If you can't find the level you are looking for, complete our enquiry form.

*Please note, German Beginner Part One classes are not running in Term 3. Please use our enquiry form to be kept updated about future German classes.
